should students be tested for drugs for after school activities?

i think that that is the parents decisionĀ if they want their child to get a drug test. but if it was my kid and he was a trouble maker i would say yes because i would want to know if he was doing anything bad. but if he was a nice kid then i would say no because i would have nothing to worry about.

I agree aht parents should have the decision to make weather or not their child gets drug tested . This way parents are taking responsibility for their child and students still have the opportunity to be drug tested. It depends on how much the child’s parents trust them and the child’s personality on weather they get tested. However, students should have nothing to hide if already know before the test if the results will show up negative or positive so they should have nothing to hide.

I agree that if a kid seems to get in trouble often, they should be tested. Some kids, mostly the ones who don’t get into too much trouble, are very shy and it make upset them that they are getting tested for drugs. They may have been trusted in the past and now may ask, “why are they testing me for drugs. Do they think I did something bad?”. mom
