high school

February 5, 2008

Most kids think that high school’s this big jungle were you have to go and get picked on. It’s really just a school like yours and mine. Everybody has trouble and so they get help. But thats just my imagination talking. I hope its full of nice people in a learning environment were you can make lots of friends, teachers and students. The only thing I fear is that the classes are longer and that there is harder work to be done. But ill get used to it after a while. Lastly, just chill out and dont fret, you’ll be fine.

Martin Luther King Jr. day post

January 18, 2008

The reason that we don’t have school on Monday is to honor Martin Luther King Jr. because he was the one who brought blacks and whites together as friends and family. Dr. King was born on  January 15, 1929 and was assassinated on April 4, 1968. he was shot several times. He was trained as a baptist minister but lead the American civil rights movement. He delivered his “I have a dream” speech in washington. He was the youngest person ever to recieve the nobel peace prize.

Outside of parents, who has influenced your life more than anyone else; who had an impact on your life and what was it about that person that meant something to you?

December 12, 2007

one person that has influenced my life as much or even more would have to be my friends. perticularly my friend tyler. we have been friends since kindergarden. he has always set me strait if i do some thing wrong. plus he knows what to do when the mood of having fun is shot. when we were kids playing in my backyard if one of us got hurt, usually me, he would run as fast as he could to see if i was okay. we were like brothers. we liked the same foods, liked the same sports, and we both got along with each others families. But best of all he was there for me in my time of need.

i wonder

December 6, 2007

I wonder how the really rich spoiled kids sleep at night while there are children dieing everyday from diseases and being open to poisons. i think they should donate to the children.

should students be tested for drugs for after school activities?

September 27, 2007

i think that that is the parents decision if they want their child to get a drug test. but if it was my kid and he was a trouble maker i would say yes because i would want to know if he was doing anything bad. but if he was a nice kid then i would say no because i would have nothing to worry about.

first amendment

September 19, 2007

i think the first amendment is the most important because it gives people with different religions a chance in this society. Also, because that America is the most mixed backround for all types of religions. This is still in effect today because there are tons of churches, chapels, and cinegogs all over the U.S.
